Threadlist helps you capture and organize your tasks. We care about your privacy and try to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.
Account information: your email address (and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your basic profile such as name and email).
Content you create: the tasks, notes, time blocks, goals, and journal entries you add to Threadlist.
Usage & diagnostics: basic, aggregated information about how the app is used and error reports, so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
We use your information solely to provide and improve Threadlist: to store your tasks, sign you in, and power features like cleaning up your text, spotting likely duplicates, grouping related work, and surfacing what matters. To do this, the text of the tasks you create is processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to return a cleaned, organized result. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting of your data), OpenAI (AI processing of task text), and Cloudflare (web hosting). These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is restricted by row-level security so that your account can only read and write its own data.
You can view and edit your content at any time inside the app. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete account; this removes your tasks, time blocks, goals, and journal entries and cannot be undone. To request a copy of your data, contact us at the address below.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems.
Threadlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a notice in the app.
